Aux États-Unis, un homme de 65 ans tombe à travers la glace sur le lac Arbutus.
Un agent de la police d’État, Kammeron Bennetts, se trouve à proximité. Il utilise le chien de l’homme, Ruby, pour le secourir. Bennetts porte une caméra. Il lance un disque de sauvetage. Celui-ci ne fonctionne pas. Il demande à l’homme de lui envoyer Ruby. Bennetts attache le disque au collier de Ruby. Ensuite, il tire l’homme en sécurité.
L’homme doit aller à l’hôpital. Il va bien maintenant. La police qualifie Ruby de bonne fille. Cela montre que la rapidité d’esprit et le travail d’équipe permettent de sauver une vie dans une situation difficile.
