En Alabama, aux États-Unis, une femme atteinte d’une maladie rare a réussi à donner naissance à des jumelles. La femme a deux utérus.

Kelsey Hatcher et son mari ont accueilli leurs filles Roxi Layla et Rebel Laken à l’hôpital de l’université d’Alabama à Birmingham. Kelsey avait une chance sur un million d’être atteinte d’une telle maladie. Même son médecin a été surpris. Les médecins ont mis fin à la grossesse à haut risque à 39 semaines, après un travail de 20 heures. Une fille est née naturellement et l’autre par césarienne.

Kelsey prévoit de partager bientôt l’histoire complète de la naissance, mais pour l’instant, elle est heureuse d’être à la maison pour créer des liens et récupérer pendant les vacances.
