Dans le Michigan, aux États-Unis, un garçon de 12 ans a volé un chariot élévateur dans un collège. Il a trouvé une clé à l’intérieur et est parti en voiture.
La police a poursuivi le garçon et il a fallu une heure pour l’arrêter. Pendant ce temps, le garçon a heurté une dizaine de voitures en stationnement. Il roulait sans phares à une vitesse pouvant atteindre 30 km/h. Selon la police, la situation était très dangereuse, mais heureusement, il n’y a pas eu de blessés. La police a placé le garçon en détention juvénile, un type de prison pour les jeunes.
La police n’a pas dit le nom du garçon parce qu’il était jeune, mais elle a souligné à quel point la poursuite était risquée.
