En Israël, c’est le parlement qui élabore les nouvelles lois. La Cour suprême a désormais moins de pouvoir. Beaucoup de gens n’aiment pas cela. Ils protestent.

Les États-Unis sont également inquiets. La cour ne peut plus arrêter les décisions du gouvernement.

Certaines personnes pensent que cela rendra le gouvernement plus corrompu. Ils ont également peur que le gouvernement ne soit plus aussi juste. La démocratie israélienne n’est pas très forte. La Cour suprême est donc très importante. Elle protège les droits des gens et la loi.

Le dirigeant Benjamin Netanyahu veut encore plus de changements. Mais les gens ne sont pas sûrs d’eux. Ils craignent que Netanyahou n’utilise ces changements pour son bien. Netanyahou dit que ce n’est pas vrai.
