Spotify a augmenté les prix des formules premium aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni, mais aussi dans d’autres pays. L’entreprise veut gagner plus d’argent en cette période économique difficile.

Pour les plans américains, les prix ont augmenté de 1 dollar à 2 dollars, les prix sont donc maintenant compris entre 5,99 et 16,99 dollars. L’entreprise a déclaré que cela permettrait de satisfaire les fans et les artistes. Pour faire plus de profits, Spotify a également licencié de nombreux employés et modifié son unité de podcast, pour laquelle elle a dépensé beaucoup d’argent.

D’autres services de streaming comme Apple, Amazon, Tidal et YouTube Premium ont également augmenté leurs prix pour gagner plus d’argent.
