Un élève mange une œuvre d’art – niveau 3

Un étudiant en art sud-coréen, Noh Huyn-soo, a fait la une des journaux en mangeant une banane d’une célèbre installation de l’artiste italien Maurizio Cattelan au musée d’art Leeum de Séoul.

Dans une vidéo capturée par un ami, Noh a audacieusement retiré la banane du mur à l’aide de ruban adhésif, l’a mangée devant des spectateurs ébahis, puis a rattaché la peau de la banane à l’aide du même ruban adhésif avant de partir avec une expression satisfaite. Interrogé par le musée, Noh a expliqué qu’il avait faim et qu’il considérait cet acte comme une forme d’expression artistique. La banane fait partie de l’installation de Cattelan intitulée Comedian et est régulièrement remplacée tous les quelques jours.

Ce n’est pas la première fois que la banane est consommée, puisque l’artiste de performance David Datuna a mangé une banane de l’installation lors de son exposition à Miami en 2019. Cattelan, connu pour ses œuvres d’art provocantes, n’aurait pas eu de problème avec les actions de Noh.
